Brazil Allows Tax-Exempt Bond Issuance for 30-Megawatt Wind Farm

Sept. 15 (Bloomberg) — Ventos de Santa Joana Energias
Renovaveis SA received approval from the Energy Ministry to
issue tax-exempt bonds to support a project in Brazil.

The Ventos de Santa Joana II wind park in the northeastern
state of Piaui won financing permission, according to a notice
published in the official gazette today. The facility has an
installed capacity of 30 megawatts.

A spokesmen for the company didn’t respond to a phone call
seeking comment.
