(Bloomberg) — JinkoSolar Holding Co., a Chinese module
maker, is supplying panels with 104 megawatts of capacity for a
$188 million solar project in Utah.
JinkoSolar will deliver more than 340,000 modules to be
used in the Utah Red Hills Renewable Park, the Shangrao, China-based company said Wednesday in a statement. The panels can
generate enough energy to power about 18,500 homes. Terms of the
sale weren’t disclosed.
Swinerton Renewable Energy is helping develop the solar
farm. The project is owned by Scatec Solar ASA which has a 20-year power-purchase agreement with PacifiCorp’s Rocky Mountain
Power, a utility owned by Berkshire Hathaway Inc.’s energy unit.
