MHI Vestas Offshore Wind Gets 400MW Order for U.K. Project

(Bloomberg) — MHI Vestas Offshore Wind A/S received an
order for 400 megawatts of wind turbines for the Rampion
offshore wind project in the U.K.

Installation of the 116 wind turbines will begin in the
first quarter of 2017, the company said on its website.

The Rampion plant, to be financed by EON SE and the U.K.
Green Investment Bank
, will be located off the Sussex coast. The
order is the largest for MHI Vestas, according to the statement.
