Jan. 16 (Bloomberg) — Planta Solar Calama Sur SA, a Chilean renewable-energy developer, is filing for permits to develop a $105 million photovoltaic solar power plant in Chile’s northern Antofagasta region.

Work on the 30-megawatt Calama Sur project is expected to start on Sept. 30, the Concepcion, Chile-based company said today in a filing with environmental licensing agency Servicio de Evaluacion Ambiental.
