Hitachi High-Tech, Etrion to Build 34MW of Japan Solar Projects

Construction of a 24.7-megawatt plant in the northern prefecture of Iwate and a 9.3-megawatt station in Ibaraki, northeast of Tokyo, is scheduled to begin this year, the companies said in a statement today.

Orix, Kyudenko Complete Solar Station at Former Airport in Japan

The project marks the first time that a solar-power plant was built on a former airport site in Japan, Orix, a Tokyo-based finance and leasing company, and Kyudenko Corp. said in a statement today.
