This is the inaugural issue of a monthly analysis of corporate renewable energy procurement by Bloomberg New Energy Finance. This publication will highlight recent contracts signed between renewable energy asset owners and corporate off-takers, relevant policies and power market changes from around the world, and interview with a key player. We will also include data on contract volumes, power prices and other relevant metrics, and provide links to our growing body of research in this area.

This edition includes an interview with Jury Witschnig, head of sustainability strategy, product and production at BMW Group, about the drivers behind the group’s plan to procure 100% electricity from renewables.
