Sept. 22 (Bloomberg) — Yingli Green Energy Holding Co.,
the world’s biggest panel maker, will supply modules with 24
megawatts of capacity for a solar farm in southern Honduras.
Panel shipments for the utility-scale project will be
completed in November, Baoding, China-based Yingli said today in
a statement. Terms of the sale weren’t disclosed.
The Pavana Solar Park in Choluteca will be the largest
linked to the nation’s grid when it’s connected in the first
quarter of 2015, according to the statement. The project will
provide electricity for more than 60,000 people.
Energia Basica SA, a unit of Luz & Fuerza de San Lorenzo SA
de CV, will own the project, which Orlando, Florida-based Sybac
Solar LLC plans to design and build.
