Oct. 21 (Bloomberg) — Hanwha SolarOne Co., the
photovoltaic manufacturing unit of Korea’s Hanwha Group, agreed
to supply panels with 17 megawatts of capacity for three
projects in North Carolina.
The modules will be used in O2 Energies’ Cirrus,
Chocowinity and Rockwell solar plants, the Qidong, China-based
unit said today in a statement. Financial terms weren’t
disclosed.
The solar farms are expected to be complete by the end of
the year.
