(Bloomberg) — JinkoSolar Holding Co., a Chinese solar
manufacturer, supplied modules with 80 megawatts of capacity to
China General Nuclear Power Group for a project in Henan
Province.
The panels are being deployed on rooftops of agricultural
greenhouses in Neihuang County, Shangrao, China-based JinkoSolar
said today in a statement. They are expected to be connected to
the grid by the end of the year. Terms weren’t disclosed.
“Agricultural solar PV projects not only solve the problem
of space needed but also simultaneously promote new clean energy
power generation and agricultural development,” JinkoSolar
Chairman Li Xiande said in the statement.
