(Bloomberg) — Vestas Wind Systems A/S agreed to install 11
wind turbines for an American Capital Energy & Infrastructure
project in Jamaica.
The turbines have a combined capacity of 36.3 megawatts
and are scheduled to be delivered in the third quarter, the
Aarhus, Denmark-based company said in a statement on its
website.
The BMR Jamaica project, in the parish of Saint Elizabeth,
is owned by American Capital’s BMR Energy unit. The project will
be Jamaica’s largest wind power plant, according to Vestas.
