(Bloomberg) — Sustainable Power Group, a U.S. supplier of
clean electricity, is buying equity stakes in 16 ground-mounted
solar farms in North Carolina.
FLS Energy Inc., a solar provider based in Asheville, North
Carolina, is selling interests in about 63 megawatts of
capacity, according to a statement Wednesday from Salt Lake
City-based Sustainable Power. Terms weren’t disclosed.
The solar farms went into operation in 2013 and 2014 and
sell power to Duke Energy Corp. under 15-year contracts.
