Trina Supplies Modules With 6.9 Megawatts of Capacity to Anesco

(Bloomberg) — Trina Solar Ltd., the largest panel
manufacturer, supplied modules with 6.9 megawatts of capacity to
Anesco Ltd. for a power plant in the U.K.

The ground-mounted solar farm began generating power this
month, Changzhou, China-based Trina said Thursday in a
statement. Terms of the sale to the Reading, U.K.-based energy-efficiency company weren’t disclosed.

Trina in 2014 shipped about 3.66 gigawatts of panels to
become the top manufacturer, overtaking Yingli Green Energy
Holding Co.
, which shipped 3.36 gigawatts.

Global solar installations may exceed 58 gigawatts this
year, according to data compiled by Bloomberg New Energy
Finance.
