(Bloomberg) — JinkoSolar Holding Co., a Chinese module
maker, supplied panels with about 34 megawatts of capacity for a
project in Chile.
JinkoSolar delivered the panels to Rijn Capital BV’s Chile
unit, a renewable-energy developer with a solar pipeline of
about 500 megawatts in the South American nation, the Shangrao,
China-based manufacturer said Friday in a statement. Terms
weren’t disclosed.
Chile may install as much as 777 megawatts of photovoltaics
this year, a 61 percent increase from 483 megawatts last year,
according to data compiled by Bloomberg New Energy Finance.
