(Bloomberg) — Hokuriku Electric Power Co. began
construction of an 8-megawatt wind power station in the western
prefecture of Fukui, the utility said in a statement Monday.
The station is being developed and will be operated by a
wholly owned unit and will start running in January 2017,
according to the statement. The plant will produce enough
electricity to power the equivalent of 4,000 homes for a year.
