Duke Buying 20-Megawatt Halifax Solar Project in North Carolina

The solar farm in Roanoke Rapids, built on the site of a decommissioned airport, began generating electricity this month, Charlotte, North Carolina-based Duke said today in a statement. Terms weren’t disclosed.
