Ecoplexus to Build $45 Million Solar Station in North Carolina

(Bloomberg) — Ecoplexus Inc. will build a $45 million
solar-power station in Whitakers, North Carolina, with 25
megawatts of capacity.

Solar Frontier K.K., a panel maker based in Tokyo, will
provide 150,000 solar panels for the station, Ecoplexus said in
a statement. The plant will start running later this year.

The station will produce enough electricity for about 3,800
homes, according to Ecoplexus, which is based in San Francisco.
