Japan Gaming Machine Maker Completes 20MW Solar Power Plant

(Bloomberg) — Oizumi Corp. , a Japanese maker of gaming
machines, completed a 20-megawatt solar power station at a
former golf course in Tochigi prefecture, north of Tokyo.

The 5.7 billion yen ($46 million) plant will sell all the
electricity it produces to Tokyo Electric Power Co. under
Japan’s incentive program for clean energy, Oizumi said in a
statement.

The station will produce enough electricity for about 6,500
homes, according to the statement. Oizumi has two other solar
plants operating in Kanagawa prefecture, where it is based.
