Orix, Sharp Complete 46MW Solar Power Station in Northern Japan

(Bloomberg) — Sharp Corp. and Orix Corp. completed a 46-megawatt solar power station in the northern prefecture of
Hokkaido, the companies said in a statement Thursday.

The plant will start operations on Jan. 1 and will produce
enough electricity to power 14,100 homes, according to the
statement.
