(Bloomberg) — SKI Corp., a Japanese company that sells
mobile phones, plans to build a 24-megawatt solar power station
in the western prefecture of Wakayama.
The plant, which will cost about 8.5 billion yen ($71
million), is scheduled to start operations in September 2016,
the Nagoya-based company said in a statement Monday.
The company has identified the site for the project and
plans to sign final land-purchase agreements in July, according
to the statement.
