Argentina Province Schedules Auction to Build First Solar Farm

The 1 megawatt project in central Argentina will cost about 34 million pesos ($4 million) and must go into operation within six months, according to a statement on the state government website Nov. 28.

TRIG Buys Onshore Wind Farm in Ireland for 17.3 Million Euros

TRIG bought the 25.3-megawatt operational wind farm in County Cork from Renewable Energy Systems Ltd., Guernsey-based TRIG said today in an e-mailed statement. It takes its total portfolio of onshore wind and solar plants to about 439 megawatts, it said.

The company expects to ship 3.3 gigawatts to 3.35 gigawatts of panels this year, compared with forecasts of 3.6 to 3.8 gigawatts in August and as much as 4.2 gigawatts previously, it said in a statement today.

Canadian Solar Sells Mojave Desert Project to Dominion

Sustainable Power Signs $65 Million Utility Solar Deal

Under a 21-year contract worth about $65 million, Sustainable Power will supply electricity at 5.3 cents a kilowatt-hour, the Tempe, Arizona-based utility said in a statement on its website. Salt River Project pays an average of about 4 cents a kilowatt-hour for power during peak periods.
