Future gas systems – Abundance and increasing liquidity of LNG transportation is opening new opportunities for the use of natural gas in power generation. Which countries and companies will gain most from this and what other developments in supply, transportation and demand for natural gas may affect this over the next five-to-ten years?

Battery manufacturing – China, South Korea, and Japan collectively account for 95% of the world’s commissioned capacity for lithium-ion battery manufacturing today. Electric vehicles – The home field advantage – Asia leads the world in electric vehicle sales and deployment of charging stations. Many countries in the region – including China – have set ambitious EV sales targets, and there is growing competition between manufacturers. How will Asia’s EV markets evolve and how will this position major suppliers to compete globally?
