Europe Carbon Trade Would Gain Extra $1.1 Billion From Biomass

Renewables Infrastructure Group Raising Money for Clean Power

The fund is issuing shares at 102.25 pence apiece, it said Monday in an e-mailed statement. It declined to disclose how much it’s raising in total. The money will be used to enable it to “take advantage of its pipeline of attractive investment opportunities,” it said.

Scatec Agrees on Egypt Solar Plant as Part of $300 Million Plan

Abengoa Closes $660 Million in Financing for Africa Solar

The financing is for a 100-megawatt solar thermal plant it plans to build in Northern Cape Province. The Xina Solar One facility will cost $880 million in total and generate enough electricity for at least 95,000 homes, Abengoa said.
