Marubeni, EDF Unit to Build 146MW Solar Power Station in Chile

Trina to Supply 116 Megawatts for Largest Solar Project in Japan

Trina will deliver the panels to Toyo Engineering Corp. the Changzhou, China-based solar company said Monday in a statement. The 231-megawatt solar farm in Okayama Prefecture in western Japan is expected to be operational in 2019. Terms weren’t disclosed.

Clean-Energy Spending Drops 15% to Reach Lowest Level Since 2013

About $50.5 billion was invested in the first three months of 2015, the least since the first quarter of 2013 when spending on clean energy totaled $43.1 billion, according to research released Friday by Bloomberg New Energy Finance. The figure a year earlier was $59.3 billion.
