Bluefield Solar Buying U.K. Sun-Power Farms for $83 Million

(Bloomberg) — Bluefield Solar Income Fund Ltd., listed in
London, said it’s buying three sun-power plants in the U.K. for
54 million pounds ($83.2 million).

The fund has entered agreements to buy a 6.5-megawatt
facility in Somerset, a 12.5-megawatt facility in Wiltshire and
a 29-megawatt plant in Oxfordshire, it said in an e-mailed
statement. Bluefield is funding the acquisitions with part of
the 131 million pounds it raised in November, it said.

Bluefield, backed by CCLA Investment Management Ltd.,
raised 130 million pounds through an initial share sale in 2013
to buy U.K. solar parks.
