Bolivia Hires Deea Solutions to Study 20-Megawatt Solar Plant

(Bloomberg) — Bolivia said it hired Deea Solutions GmbH of
Germany for $250 million to conduct a study for the construction
of a 20-megawatt solar project.

The Frankfurt-based company will study for six months the
best location for the solar plant within the Oruro region in
western Bolivia, the country’s Ministry of Hydrocarbons and
Energy said Feb. 12 in a statement on its website.

Investments for the solar plant will total about $45
million, the ministry said in the statement.
