(Bloomberg) — Canadian Solar Inc., the third-largest maker
of photovoltaic panels, arranged 35 million pounds ($53.4
million) in financing for four power projects in the U.K.
Terms of the project financing facility, which closed May
7, weren’t disclosed by the Guelph, Ontario-based panel producer
in a statement Monday. Investec Bank Plc was the deal’s sole
arranger.
The four solar farms in the U.K. have a total capacity of
40.2 megawatts and went into operation in March.
Trina Solar Ltd. was the largest solar-panel producer by
shipments last year, followed by Yingli Green Energy Holding Co.
