Canadian Solar Gets Manufacturers Life Loan for Ontario Plant

(Bloomberg) — Canadian Solar Inc. secured a C$52.8
million ($40.8 million) loan from Manufacturers Life Insurance
Co.
for a sun-powered plant in Ontario.

The 9-megawatt project currently being built is expected to
start working in the last quarter of the year, the company said
Tuesday in a statement. Once operational it will be acquired by
Concord Green Energy Inc. No terms were disclosed.
