China Greatwall to Spend Over $87 Million on Solar Projects

Oct. 22 (Bloomberg) — China Greatwall Computer Shenzhen
Co.
, which last month said it was selling shares to fund solar
developments, plans to spend more than $87 million on rooftop
and ground-mounted systems.

The Shenzhen-based company is building projects totaling 60
megawatts of capacity in Guangdong and Jiangxi provinces,
according to a statement today.

The solar farms, which require government approval, are
part of the nation’s plan to increase photovoltaic capacity in
Central and Eastern China to 10 gigawatts by 2020.
