Daiwa Lease Completes Floating Solar Power Plant in West Japan

(Bloomberg) — Daiwa Lease Co. completed a 1-megawatt
floating solar power plant in the western prefecture of Osaka.

The facility has more than 4,000 panels supplied by Jinko
Solar Co.
floating on a reservoir, Daiwa Lease said in a
statement Tuesday.

The 500 million-yen ($4 million) plant provides enough
electricity for about 328 homes, according to the statement.
