(Bloomberg) — ET Solar Group Corp., a closely held Chinese
panel maker, supplied modules with 6.1 megawatts of capacity for
what it said will be the largest rooftop installation in the
U.K.
The commercial-scale system, spread across 900,000 square
feet, will provide about one-quarter of the power required at a
Marks & Spencer Group Plc distribution center in East Midlands,
according to a statement Wednesday. SBC Renewables Ltd. and Mark
Group helped develop the project. Terms weren’t disclosed.
Marks & Spencer, the London-based retailer established in
1884, is seeking to generate half of its electricity from
renewable sources by 2020.
