(Bloomberg) — Eurus Energy Holdings Corp. completed a 51-megawatt wind power station in Akita prefecture in northern
Japan.
The plant uses 17 three-megawatt turbines supplied by
Siemens AG, Tokyo-based Eurus said in a statement Friday.
The station can produce enough electricity to power 30,000
homes, according to the statement. It’s the fourth wind power
station in Akita for Eurus, which is a venture between Toyota
Tsusho Corp. and Tokyo Electric Power Co.
