Foresight Solar Sells Shares in Placement to Buy More Facilities

(Bloomberg) — Foresight Solar Fund Ltd. is selling shares
in a placement to buy more of the power plants in the U.K.

The investor, listed in London, has rights to buy a
pipeline of projects of more than 100 megawatts, it said in an
e-mailed statement Monday. Acquisition of all the solar plants
would increase its capacity by as much as 50 percent, it said.

The placing is part of a plan to raise 200 million pounds
($314 million) by September. Of that total figure, the company
has already raised 96.2 million pounds. It didn’t give the price
or size of the placing.
