Gamesa Supplying 98 Megawatts of Turbines to Projects in China

(Bloomberg) — Gamesa Corp. Tecnologica SA, Spain’s largest
wind-turbine maker, received two orders to supply projects in
China.

Gamesa will deliver turbines capable of generating 50
megawatts to Hebei Construction & Investment Group Co. and 48
megawatts to Fujian Energy Group Co., the Zamudio, Spain-based
manufacturer said Monday in a statement on its website. Terms
weren’t disclosed for the scheduled deliveries this year.

The sale to HCIG is part of a 150-megawatt supply agreement
signed in September, according to the statement. Gamesa has
supplied HCIG with 128 megawatts of turbines since 2008 and has
orders for 130 megawatts from Fujian Energy.
