(Bloomberg) — The Inter-American Development Bank approved
$125 million in financing for renewable-energy projects in
Uruguay.
The funds are part of a $250 million credit line the
Washington-based lender is providing to promote investment
projects, IADB said in a statement on its website yesterday.
The $125 million will support investments through Uruguay’s
Bank of the Republic. It may finance as much as 120 megawatts of
wind projects and 2 megawatts of small solar plants.
