(Bloomberg) — JinkoSolar Holding Co., a Chinese module
maker, agreed to supply panels with 50 megawatts of capacity to
a power plant in Turkey.
JinkoSolar will deliver the modules to Tegnatia, a joint
venture between Turkey’s T Dinamik Energy Industry & Foreign
Trade Co. and Egnatia Group of Greece, the Shangrao, China-based
company said Monday in a statement. Terms weren’t disclosed.
Solar installations in Turkey may triple this year to 225
megawatts from 75 megawatts last year, according to Bloomberg
New Energy Finance. With the sale, JinkoSolar becomes the
largest panel supplier to the country, according to the
statement.
