JinkoSolar to Supply 80 Megawatts for Rooftop Projects in China

(Bloomberg) — JinkoSolar Holding Co., a Chinese module
maker, agreed to supply panels with 80 megawatts of capacity for
rooftop projects in Guangdong and Hainan provinces.

JinkoSolar has delivered the first shipment of modules to
China Southern Power Grid Co., a state-owned utility, the
Shangrao, China-based manufacturer said Tuesday in a statement.
Terms weren’t disclosed.

Installations in China this year may surpass 17 gigawatts,
exceeding an earlier forecast of about 15 gigawatts, according
to Bloomberg New Energy Finance. About 13 gigawatts were added
last year in the world’s largest solar market.
