(Bloomberg) — Marubeni Corp. completed a 30-megawatt
solar-power station on the northern island of Hokkaido.
The station in Tomakomai City can produce enough
electricity for about 9,000 homes, Tokyo-based Marubeni said in
a statement Tuesday.
Marubeni has a combined solar capacity of 200 megawatts in
Japan including the Hokkaido plant, according to the statement.
