Mitsubishi UFJ Lease to Invest in SoftBank’s Solar Firm in Japan

(Bloomberg) — Mitsubishi UFJ Lease & Finance Co. will
invest in a 32-megawatt solar power plant SB Energy Corp. is
developing in Japan’s southwestern prefecture of Kagoshima.

The plant, which will produce enough electricity for more
than 10,000 homes, will start operating by March 2018, the
companies said in a statement Tuesday. Financial terms weren’t
disclosed.

SB Energy is the clean energy unit of SoftBank Group Corp.
