(Bloomberg) — Mitsui & Co., Japan’s second-largest trading
company, will acquire a 25 percent stake in Gonvarri Eolica SL,
a maker of wind turbine parts in Spain.
Mitsui will pay about 15.4 billion yen ($128 million) for
the shares to be acquired later this year, Tomomi Taura, a
spokeswoman for the Tokyo-based company, said by phone Friday.
Madrid-based Gonvarri, founded in 2008, makes turbine
towers, Mitsui said in a statement Friday.
