(Bloomberg) — NEC Capital Solutions Ltd., NTT Facilities
Inc. and partners set up a power company to sell electricity
from renewable sources to public facilities in Hamamatsu City,
Shizuoka prefecture in central Japan.
The city of Hamamatsu, Chubu Gas Co. and five others are
also taking part in the venture, NEC Capital Solutions said in a
statement Thursday. The power company will get supplies from
solar power stations and a waste treatment plant.
The company plans to start selling electricity in April,
according to the statement.
