(Bloomberg) — Orix Corp. will build a 55-megawatt solar
power station in Japan’s northwestern prefecture of Niigata.
Construction will begin in June and the plant is scheduled
to commence operations three years later, the Tokyo-based
company said in a statement Thursday.
The plant will produce enough electricity for 16,765 homes,
according to the statement.
