Renova Receives $268 Million Loan From Brazil Development Bank

Dec. 8 (Bloomberg) — Renova Energia SA received a 700
million-real ($268 million) loan from Brazil’s development bank
for a wind power project in the northeastern state of Bahia.

The funds will be used for phase A of the Sertao III wind
project, the Sao Paulo-based company said in a regulatory filing
today. Phase A includes 411 megawatts of the total 734 megawatts
of installed capacity planned for the complex.
