Scotland Grants Consent for PNE 19-Turbine Onshore Wind Farm

(Bloomberg) — PNE Wind UK Ltd., a unit of the German wind-energy developer, won permission to build a 65-megawatt land-based wind farm in Scotland.

The Scottish government awarded planning consent to PNE to
build the 19-turbine facility in South Lanarkshire, the
government said Monday in a statement on its website. The
project will provide enough power for about 30,000 homes, it
said.
