(Bloomberg) — Shinsei Bank Ltd. will lead a group that
will provide a 6.8 billion yen ($57 million) loan for a solar
power station in northern Japan.
The plant, to be set up in Hokkaido, will be developed by
Watami Co., a restaurant chain operator, and Community Solar
System Corp., Tokyo-based Shinsei said today in a statement.
The plant will start operations in March 2016, according to
the statement. Hokkaido Bank Ltd. and Hokuto Bank Ltd. will join
Shinsei in providing the loan.
