(Bloomberg) — Sojitz Corp. invested in two solar power
stations in Peru owned and operated by T-Solar Global SA, a unit
of Grupo Isolux Corsan SA.
Sojitz has acquired a 49 percent stake in each plant, the
Tokyo-based trading company said in a statement Monday. Each
station is 22 megawatts in capacity. No financial terms were
disclosed.
The solar stations in Arequipa in southern Peru have been
operating since July 2012, according to the statement. They were
Peru’s first large-scale solar projects.
