SolarCity to Hire 300 Workers to Expand U.S. Sales Efforts

(Bloomberg) — SolarCity Corp., the biggest U.S. rooftop

solar installer, plans to hire at least 300 people to expand its

sales force.

The new employees will work at an office in Roseville,

California, that was officially opened Friday, according to a

statement on the company’s website. Most of SolarCity’s national

inside sales team will be based at the site, where the company

is consolidating workers from five other facilities in the area.
