Sumitomo Bank, Others to Invest in Solar Power Fund by Sparx

(Bloomberg) — Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corp., NEC Capital
Solutions Ltd.
and Maeda Corp. plan to invest as much as 5
billion yen ($42 million) in a solar power fund set up by Sparx
Group Co.

Sparx, a Japanese asset manager, will invest 100 million
yen for the fund, the company said in a statement today.

The fund will invest in about five solar stations, the
Nikkei newspaper reported earlier today.
