SunPower Supplying 41 Megawatts of Panels for Projects in France

Oct. 13 (Bloomberg) — SunPower Corp., the second-largest
U.S. solar manufacturer, agreed to supply panels with 41
megawatts of capacity to GDF Suez for four power plants in
France.

La Compagnie du Vent, a unit of the French utility, is
building three solar farms with 12 megawatts of capacity each
and one with 5 megawatts, San Jose, California-based SunPower
said today in a statement. Terms of the sale weren’t disclosed.

All four projects are expected to be operational by the end
of 2015, according to the statement.

First Solar Inc. is the largest U.S. solar manufacturer by
market value.
