Oct. 14 (Bloomberg) — Takeei Corp. will invest as much as
3 billion yen ($28 million) to build a 6-megawatt biomass plant
in northern Japan.
The facility in Iwate prefecture will start running in two
years, the Tokyo-based company said in a statement today. Takeei
collects and recycles waste.
The station will generate enough electricity for about
14,000 homes, according to the statement.
