Toyota Tsusho Completes 12.7-Megawatt Biomass-Fired Power Plant

(Bloomberg) — Toyota Tsusho Corp. and partners completed a
12.7-megawatt wood-biomass power station in Japan’s western
prefecture of Shimane.

The 5 billion-yen ($40 million) plant will start operating
July 1, Toyota Tsusho said on its website. Yanmar Co. and
Toyotsu Machinery Corp. are also taking part in the project.
